I'm Mr. K, and I started this business to make a big change in my life. After years in the hospitality industry, where 100-hour weeks were the norm, I realized I was missing out on the most important part of my life—my amazing wife and our five beautiful daughters. I knew I needed to do something different, something that would let me spend more time with my family while still doing work I enjoy.

Flatpack assembly and decorating have always been guilty pleasures of mine. There's something so satisfying about seeing a project come together. What areas do you cover?

So far we've had projects in Jarrow, Hebburn, South Shields, Sunderland, Gateshead, Birtley and Newcastle. You could say we cover the Tyne & Wear area, but always happy to discuss projects that may be a little further away.

Are you insured?

Yes, we're insured for both commercial, landlord and residential work.

When was your last DBS check?

September 2023 and would be happy to do another if required for a project.

What's your favourite DIY job?

Has to be flatpack furniture assembly. It's so relaxing to me, it doesn't feel like work at all.

How far in advance do I need to book you?

Normally 1 to 2 weeks depending on the size of the project. But sometimes I have spaces for smaller projects sooner.
